For over a decade, Aquila Apartments has been offering spacious, clean bungalows and apartments at affordable prices. In May 2023, we, Patrick and Willeke, acquired this beautiful property, formerly known as the Schooneboom plantation. At the time, it was densely overgrown with trees and plants. After weeks of hard work clearing the land, we began creating our mini-resort and a charming picking garden.
We brought four wooden Finnish chalets from the Netherlands, which we have since constructed, painted, and beautifully furnished. Additionally, the property included four one-room apartments, all of which have been completely renovated to meet modern standards.
We’ve also upgraded two spacious two-room apartments, ensuring they meet today’s comfort and design expectations.
Our picking garden invites guests to harvest their own fresh fruits, herbs, and tea, adding a special touch to their stay.
Since August 2024, our guests can also enjoy a swimming pool with a covered deck, perfect for relaxation.
