Come dive with Dushi Diving! The word Dushi says it all: beautiful diving and snorkeling. What makes the underwater world of Curaçao so worth exploring? The countless dive sites, the great variety of underwater flora and fauna, and our colorful coral reef drop-offs that make for awe-inspiring wall dives. Together with experienced diving instructor Wouter Goudswaard, you can explore this unique underwater world for yourself. We offer guided dives, introduction dives, and courses ranging from open water diver to dive instructor as well as various specialties. We even offer you the choice between two well-established dive agencies: PADI and IDD.
Wouter Goudswaard is a passionate diver. In 1992, he became a professional diver within the Royal Navy; during this period, he dove all over the world under the most challenging conditions. After working as a professional diver, he knew that he had found his passion and decided to follow IDD’s Instructor Training program to be able to spread his love of diving with others. Under IDD, he has now worked his way up to Course Director. He is also a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. In 2000, he started his own diving school in the Netherlands together with his wife. Over the 16 years that he ran this dive school, he had many satisfied students. In the years that followed, he continued to focus on diving with children as young as 8 years old and older. Under his guidance, more than 3000 children were introduced to diving through children’s parties, holiday activities, introduction dives and diving courses. In 2016, Wouter and his wife and children made the step to emigrate to Curaçao to carry out his passion in tropical water. He started out as an employee at another diving school, but now he’s at it again with his own diving school: Dushi Diving!
If you want to experience what it is like to be able to breathe underwater and explore the beautiful underwater life of Curacao, this is your chance! Together with an instructor, you will dive into the Caribbean Sea and be amazed by the versatility of the underwater life, the different corals, colored fish, and crystal-clear water. This experience is available for ages 10 and up.
What does the lesson consist of?
Proud owner of a diving license, but no buddy? Do you want to find out where the most beautiful sites are? Come to Dushi Diving! Together with Wouter, you will visit the most beautiful dive sites to admire the underwater life of Curaçao. With us you can dive from the east coast to the west, and even take a boat dive to the most pristine reefs of Curacao on the east and north side. You can choose between either 1, 2 or 3 dives per day. It is also possible to go diving at popular beaches, so that a partner or the family can join and have a nice day on the beach while you dive. Take for example Porto Marie Beach: a beautiful double reef, but also a stunning beach with a restaurant, bar and many other facilities. Definitely worth two dives!

After years of experience with diving with children, Wouter specialized in this. Together with him, more than 3000 children have had the opportunity to take their first dive. To create an unforgettable experience together with children and young as 7,5 years old (Bubblemaker), a different approach and appropriate material is needed: children are not just ‘small’ adults. Together with your child, I will create a beautiful dive experience to enjoy all the beauty that Curacao has to offer.
